Pascal Group Inc. ("Pascal," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Pascal platform that lets homeowners manage their home, request services, store records, and receive service communications, summaries, and reports, including content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence where used (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Platform, including the website at www.pascal.app, the Pascal mobile applications, and related services. It does not apply to third-party services you reach from the Platform, which have their own privacy policies. Where a Pascal-affiliated service operator, including Pascal Home Services, Inc., processes your personal data to deliver a service you have requested or subscribed to, that operator acts as a separate controller for that processing and that operator's privacy practices also apply. For membership-covered work, Pascal Home Services may share limited job information with Pascal Home Services Personnel and Partner Contractors so they can perform and document the work.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information. Name, email, phone number, postal address, password (hashed), and authentication identifiers.
  • Property information. The address, characteristics, equipment, and history of the homes you manage on the Platform.
  • Service-request information. Descriptions of issues, scope, scheduling preferences, accessibility notes, photos, video, and audio you attach where that feature is available.
  • Vault content. Insurance policies, warranties, manuals, receipts, inspection reports, and other documents you upload.
  • Communications. Messages you exchange with Pascal, Pascal Home Services, Service Operators, Partner Contractors, and others through the Platform.
  • Payment information. Card details are tokenized and stored by our payment processor; Pascal stores a payment method reference and limited descriptors (brand, last four digits, expiry month/year).
  • SMS consent. Your opt-in to receive text messages and the channel through which you opted in (web form, in-app, or verbal). Originator opt-in data is not shared with third parties (see Section 6).
  • Service Records. Photos, video, written notes, measurements, equipment serial numbers, diagnostics, reports, support communications, quality-control records, technician-performance records, and call or audio recordings where legally noticed and consented, created by Pascal, Pascal Home Services, Service Operators, Pascal Home Services Personnel, Partner Contractors, inspectors, or support personnel while providing or supporting services.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, mobile network operator (where available), unique device identifiers.
  • Log and usage data. IP address, log timestamps, pages and screens viewed, features used, referring URLs, search queries inside the app, crash reports.
  • Approximate location. Derived from IP address or from your service address when needed for scheduling and dispatch.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookie Policy at https://www.pascal.app/cookies.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Identity providers. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email and the basic profile fields you authorize.
  • Service providers. Pascal Home Services, Service Operators, and Partner Contractors may share status updates, photos taken at your property, and reports they produce.
  • Payments. Our payment processor shares transaction status, dispute, and risk signals.

2.4 Device permissions on mobile

  • Camera. Accessed only when you choose to take a photo or video of an issue at your property.
  • Microphone. Accessed only where the app offers an audio, video-with-sound, or voice feature and you choose to use it. Customer-service calls and in-home audio recording require notice and consent where required by law.
  • Photo library. Accessed only when you choose to attach existing media to a work request or vault item.
  • Notifications. Accessed if you allow push notifications for service status, scheduling, and storm alerts.
  • Location (foreground). Accessed if you allow it, to detect your service address or to track a technician's arrival relative to your home.
  • Location (background). Pascal does not use background location for homeowner accounts. Pascal Home Services dispatch may use background location for technician accounts under a separate notice.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage your account and verify your identity;
  • provide, maintain, and improve the Platform, including tools that help Pascal create service communications, summaries, and reports;
  • coordinate the services you request or subscribe to, including sharing necessary information with Pascal Home Services, Service Operators, Pascal Home Services Personnel, and Partner Contractors who perform or support the work;
  • send transactional communications (account, security, scheduling, billing, service status) and, with your consent, marketing communications;
  • send SMS notifications where you have opted in (see Section 6);
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms;
  • with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law, develop new products and personalize your experience.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by U.S. state privacy laws.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Platform and services you request), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Platform), legal obligation (tax, fraud prevention, regulatory), and consent (for marketing communications and certain cookies).

We will delete or de-identify User Content and personal information that is no longer needed. We may retain a minimum subset of information and Service Records beyond this period where required or reasonably needed for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, warranty, safety, insurance documentation, dispute handling, ongoing service obligations to a household member, active subscriptions or open quotes, or legal compliance.
